The King of The Jungle
At $29.99 Apple's roll out of a new OS is not just reasonable but it undercuts its Windows counterpart. With over 250 new functions critics suggesting that Lion is the equivalent of a Windows Service Pack can be written off. Some pretty cool functions such as iCloud integration, Launchpad, and the ability to boot directly into Safari are interesting functionality increases that all OS X uses will welcome.
The Cloud just got exciting
Some may remind you that Google have done all this years ago, and as someone who uses Google Doc's regularly I fail to understand why it took Apple so long to jump on the bandwagon, the concept has long been perfectly formed just for Apple. Simplicity via wireless integration allows owners of Apple products to absorb all their data on all their devices, from their Macs to their iPods and from their iPods to their iPads. All the possibilities are endless, If you didnt think a cloud could have a silver lining, Apple have just gone and proven you wrong, the only question remains is how cautious will the public be over putting their valuable data online, especially after the like of Sony, Citigroup and even the big boy on the block Google have all been victims to cyber crime.
